01 OVERVIEW

Avarin is a combined preparation containing alverine, a spasmolytic agent with a direct effect on the smooth muscle of the digestive tract. Alverine exerts fewer undesirable effects. The second component of the preparation is simethicone, which by a physical mechanism decreases the formation of gas and facilitates its removal from the digestive tract.

Thus provides relief from symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome as well as symptoms of abdominal discomfort like bloating, distention, fullness, pressure, pain and/or cramps.

Each soft gel capsule contains:
  • Simethicone 300 mg

I recently had a stomach infection and I am on a course of antibiotics. Can I still take AVARIN?

How many capsules of AVARIN can I take in a day?

You may take up to 3 capsules of AVARIN in a day or follow the dosage prescribed by your physician.
